Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 - Day 3: Take train from Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou/Chengdu. Arrive in Lhasa on the third day evening. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 4: Lhasa city tour sightseeing. Morning time to buy the entrance of Potala by yourself. Then to visit Jokhang Temple, afternoon to visit Drepung Monastery. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 5: Lhasa city sightseeing. Morning time to visit Potala Palace, then afternoon to Sera Monastery. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day 6: Lhasa - Namtso Lake

In the morning around 8:00 am, our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel, then we leave Lhasa to Namtso Lake. On the way you will see the huge grassland of Naqu and have a chance to see the sky road - Shanghai-Tibet Railway passing through, it looks like a dragon. Then the Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges appeared in front of you, and also you will pass the Nagela Pass. Namtso Lake is the Heavenly lake which is one of the three holy lakes of Tibet (other two is Yamdrotso lake, at Shigatse area, Lake Manasarova at Nagri) and also the highest salt lake. You can do a very relax trekking around the lakeside and Zhaxi Island. You can enjoy the sunset by the lake. Overnight at Namtso Tent guest house.

Day 7: Namtso lake - Yandrotso lake - Shigatse

Morning time to see the sunrise beside the holy lake, pass Gangbala Mt. which is over than 5000 meters, then to Yamdrotso lake which is one of the three holy lake in Tibet (another 2 is Namtso lake and Manasarova). Then arrive at Shigatse to visit Tashilumpo Monastery which was Built in 1447, spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 8: Shigatse - Lhatse - Tinggri (Shegar) - Rongbu

After lunch driving along with Friend-ship way to pass Lhatse to Tinggri. On the way you will pass the checking point with your TTB permit, travel permit and passport. Then arrive at Tinggri. Buy the entrance of Everest Base Camp. Then from Tinggri to E.B.C with the very rough road, pass the wild grassland, cross the rapids river and high mountains. During this route,you can have a glimpse of 4 mountains which is 8000 meters high or more. Overnight at Rongbu Guest House.

Day 9: Rongbu Monastery - Evrest Base Camp - Tinggri - Shigatse

After seeing the sunrise from Rongbu, then walking to arrive the place get on the animal carriage then use half of an hour arrive at Everest Base camp. Hiking up to the top of the photo point to take pictures of the splendid - Mt. Everest. Then driving down from E.B.C to Tingri then to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 10: Shigatse - Gyangtse - Lhasa

Morning time departing from Shigatse to Gyangtse, visiting Gyangtse Kumbum, far view of Zongshan ruins. Then back to Lhasa. Overnoght at Lhasa.

Day 11: Fly from Lhasa to Beijing - Shanghai - Guangzhou - Chengdu

Dropping off at the airport and end tour.
