In Catalonia 354 species have been catalogued in categories A, B and C according to the AERC (European Register and Rarities Committee) from which 40% are currently nesting in the Empordà. Private excursion lasts 5 hours while you will visit the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park. Alternatively, you can visit somewhere of our ornithologist offer in Empordà Area: Rosas Bay, Baix Ter and Ter Bay, Cap de Creus Natural Park, Mountains of l’Albera, Delfià and Mollet de Peralada, Montgrí Massif and Medas Islands.
It is a private and exclusive excursion; the ornithologist will be devoted to the group only. Around 7:00 am, you will have the transfer from the hotel; early morning is the best time to bird watch. Spring and autumn are the best seasons for bird watching in Empordà area when migrations are having place. It is a natural show because many species are gathered together. Guides are professional specialists devoted full-time to bird study and environment in Natural Parks of Empordà area in Catalonia. They speak Catalan, Spanish, English or French.
