If there is time, you can also trek from Rongbuk Monastery to Base Camp early in the morning, a distance of 8kms (2hrs). From there you will get a spectacular view of Everest.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Drive to Zhangmu China Custom and make the registration and drive to Nyalam O/H Nyalam GH.
Day 2: Acclimatization and walk around.
Day 3: Drive to Tingri, On the Thangla pass you can get wonderful view of Himalayan ranges, Specially Mt.Shisha Pangma and before Old Tingri 40km from where you can get lovely view of highest peaks on the world, such as Mt.Everest, Mt.Cho Oyu, Mt. Lhotse O/H GH.
Day 4: Drive to Rongbuk Monastery and afternoon hiking to Basecamp which takes 2hrs O/H GH.
Day 5: Drive to Nyalam O/H GH.
Day 6: Drive to Zhangmu / Exit to Nepal.
Destination: Nyalam, Tingri, Mt.Everest.
Maximum Altitude: 5220m
Best Season: Jan, Feb, March, April, May, June, Aug, Sept, Oct.
Photo Sport: Rongbuk Monastery, Thangla Pass, Gyantso La Pass, Gyawula Pass.
