Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Our representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, and handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area and customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to the great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, then proceed to the Sphinx the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body and the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. Then proceed to visit the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure. After that proceed to the famous churches at old Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church, where the nave is suspended from the old Babylon fortress; the Church of St. Barbara, the 4th century Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius and Bacchus), as well as the Jewish Synagogue and Coptic Museum. Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: After breakfast, drive by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Wadi El-Natrun, the actual birthplace for Christian monasticism. Basically, there were about 50 monasteries, only 4 have survived into modern times. Begin your trip with Deir al-Baramus which is the oldest of the surviving 4 monasteries, then proceeds to Deir Anba Bishoi whose body is still in the monastery. Continue your trip to Deir Abu Maqar which is the richest monastery now in Wadi El-Natrun, you will end your trip with Deir El-Suryani which is the smallest and most compact of the 4 monasteries. Back to hotel and overnight in Cairo.
Day 4: After breakfast, you will be driven from Cairo to Catherine, approximately 6 hours far from Cairo. Arrive at St. Catherine and check-in St. Catherine Monastery hotel.
Day 5: After breakfast, proceed to visit St. Catherine Monastery, which is considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world and one of the world’s great centers of religious pilgrimage for over fifteen centuries. The monastery was dedicated to one of Alexander’s rulers, St. Catherine, who was tortured to death for the sake of her new faith, visit room of skulls, burning push and St. Catherine Library, overnight in St. Catherine Monastery hotel.
Day 6: After breakfast, Drive via A/C modern van back to Cairo, overnight in Cairo.
Day 7: After breakfast, transfer to Cairo international airport for final departure.
