Your Itinerary:
Day 1: Our representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport and handle all your procedures through passport control, luggage area and customs formalities. After that you will be driven to your hotel by a private air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy a trip to the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. Then see the Sphinx and Valley Temple. Pay a visit to the Egyptian Museum where you can see the collection of Tutankhamen among many other splendid pharaonic artifacts. Transfer to railway station taking first class seating train to Aswan.
Day 3: You will be met and assisted at Aswan train station and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Visit the Elephantine Island by felucca boat. Back to hotel and overnight in Aswan.
Day 4: See the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Transfer to Aswan train station for departure to Luxor, where you will be met and taken to your hotel. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 5: Enjoy an excursion to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the powerful Egyptian queen, and the Colossi of Memnon. Then, visit the splendid Luxor Temple and Karnak Temples. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Luxor station taking your first class seating train back to Cairo.
Day 6: You will be met at Giza train station. After that you will be transferred to hotel. At night at about 11:00 pm, drive via A/C van to Taba.
Day 7: Arrive the Egyptian border Taba port, take the ferry boat to Aqaba, meet and assist at Aqaba port. Our representative will meet and transfer you to Amman, overnight in Amman.
Day 8: Sightseeing tour to Amman, Roman Theatre, Archaeological and Folklore Museums, King Abdullah Mosque. Proceed to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole middle east, Nemphyum, North theater, Artemis temple, St. Cosmos and Demeanors church, south theater. After lunch drive to Petra and overnight.
Day 9: Enjoy a tour to the unique “rose-red” City of Petra, half as old as time, built by the Arab Nabateans who hewed their monumental tombs, palaces, temples and treasury from the desert rock’s sandstone in its’ natural hues of rose and gold. Overnight in Petra.
Day 10: Drive to visit Little Petra, or Al-Bareed, or Siq Al-Bareed (Arabic "The cold" or "The cold canyon" due to the chilly winds howling through), offers a free version of its bigger sister Petra. You can see some beautiful ruins, rock formations, and the remains of an ancient Neolithic village (called Al-Beidha) where mankind supposedly first discovered gardening some 7000 years ago. It is the next most important site for the casual visitor in Wadi Musa. Overnight in Petra.
Day 11: Breakfast, transfer to visit Wadi Rum, start the tour by Bedouin Jeeps in the village and drive first to Lawrence's Spring and then to the sand dunes in Wadi Um Ishrin where you can also see some Nabatean inscriptions. We continue, visiting "Lawrence's House" from where there are some great views, and then to the Barragh Canyon, then transfer to Aqaba port for departure to Taba, meet and assist at Taba port, drive via A/C van to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 12: Free day in Cairo, overnight in Cairo.
Day 13: Free day in Cairo or optional tour to Alexandria, visiting Qaitbay Citadel, by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria's ancient lighthouse. See the grand Montazah Palace, then move on to the new and much acclaimed Alexandria Library. Also visit the Roman cemetery cut out of the rock, the Catacomb. Return to Cairo and overnight.
Day 14: Free day in Cairo and get excited by our optional Sound and Light Show at night.
Day 15: Breakfast, transfer to Cairo International Airport for departure.
