Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at Dakar Airport and transfer to your hotel Novotel 4* or similar in Dakar. Includes: (B&B).
Day 2: In the morning Dakar city tour. At Midday you will board the ferry for Goree Islands. Lunch at one of the best restaurants in the island. In the afternoon visit of the slave house museum, women museum and historical museum. Around 4:00 p.m boarding again for Dakar and continuation to Lac rose (pink lake) final stop of the famous rally Paris-Dakar. Salim lodge hotel or similar. Includes: (B&B, L, D).
Day 3: At 9:30 a.m departure on 4x4 pick up for a tour around the Lake following the last part of the rally. Lunch around midday. In the afternoon you take the road towards Saintlouis the old nice city of culture and history. Break on the way to visit a traditional village. Arrival at Saintlouis around 6:00 p.m. Accommodation in hotel Capsaintlouis 4* or Mermoz hotel 4* or similar. Includes: (B&B, L, D).
Day 4: Departure in the morning to visit one of the birds parks of Saintlouis region according to the season: The Djoudj Park or Park of the Langue de Barbarie. Lunch at the park and transfer back to Saintlouis. In the afternoon Saintlouis city tour on horse dawn carriage. Includes: (B&B, L, D).
Day 5: At 7:30 a.m departure for Sinesaloum region. Visit of Touba Mosque the biggest in West Africa and another local ethnic group on the way. Break for picnic and continuation to kaolack the capital city of Sinesaloum region. Visit of its art craft markets and colourful local markets. Accommodation in hotel Relais de Kaolack 3* or similar.
Day 6: Check out and departure at 7:30 am. From Ndangane fishing village you will enjoy a boating and fishing party in the river Sinesaloum before landing around midday to Marlodj Islands. Lunch at Bazouk restaurant and visit the island village in the afternoon. The Bazouk lodge hotel or similar. Includes: (B&B, L, D).
Day 7: At 9:a.m boarding and back to the inland. Your trip will take you now to Joal-fadiouth Island where you will discover a rich Serere culture that is the most important ethnic group of that region. Lunch at Joal restaurant and transfer to Mbour. Visit of its local art craft market and fish markets at the harbour with the impressive arrival of the fishermen. In the evening transfer to one of Saly seaside resorts. Accommodation in hotel Saly Savana 3* or similar. Includes: (B&B, L, D).
Day 8: Check out and transfer back to Dakar airport for your flight out. End of our services.
