Explore the majestic Hauraki Gulf and outer islands for a day on the classic 74ft yacht, Waitangi. Launched in 1894 and owned by the New Zealand Classic Yacht Trust, this is an exclusive hands-on yachting experience in one of New Zealand’s largest surviving classic big boat yachts, synonymous with racing on the Auckland Harbour. If time is of the essence, enjoy a twilight cruise in the summer weekend evenings for 2 hours indulging in canapés and wine. Alternatively, you could elect to experience hands-on racing with the crew.
As a memento, you will also take away with you a limited edition print of Waitangi by Tony Blake, one of New Zealand’s foremost marine artists. Suitable pre and post ship cruises too. There is also a twilight option in the summer months.
