Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: USA - Paris.

Depart from your US gateway for an optional overnight flight to Paris.

Day 2: Paris.
Embarkation. Transfer (optional) to the MV Cezanne on arrival, which is docked in the heart of Paris.

Day 3: Paris.

This afternoon an included tour of Paris will show you the famous sights and landmarks including the Arc de Triumph, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, the Louvre museum and the Place de la Concorde.

Day 4: Les Andelys.

Your tour today visits the impressive Chateau Gaillard, built by Richard the Lionheart, as a defense system protecting the Normans against the French. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Seine Valley from the castle, before returning to the ship.

Day 5: Le Havre - Alabaster Coast.

Arrive at the port of Le Havre, recognized in 2005 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its prominence in the age of trans-Atlantic ocean crossings. Heading to the eastern coast of Normandy today, we stop first at Fecamp, home to one of the greatest Benedictine abbeys of France. We continue to drive along this dramatic portion of the coast dominated by white chalk cliffs - not unrelated to those on the other side of the English Channel - enjoying breathtaking vistas of the sea.

Day 6: Caudebec en Caux.

This morning we depart on an included excursion to Villequier and St. Wandrill. After, visit the splendid 15th century Gothic Cathedral of Nore-Dame before returning to the ship. This afternoon we sail to Rouen.

Day 7: Rouen.

We depart the ship in this historic and beautiful town, home to both Pierre Corneille and Gustave Flaubert, for a walking tour and visit to the spot where joan of Arc was burned at the stake.

Day 8: Giverny.

A small town near Vernon, Giverny now means Claude Monet to the world. You will explore his lovely home and gardens, where he lived and painted until 1926. This evening enjoy cocktails and a delightful farewell dinner on-board.

Day 9: Paris.

After breakfast, disembark the MV Cezanne and transfer (optional) to the airport for your flight to the US (not included).
