Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Sofia Airport and meeting with our representative. Transfer to Sofia downtown and accommodation at centrally located 4* hotel. Free at leisure or city tour of Sofia (depends of your flight details). During the sightseeing tour of Sofia you will visit The Crypt /an icon museum/ of St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the National museum of history and Boyana Church, dated 1259, known for its 13th century murals, famous for their exceptional realism. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: Breakfast. Transfer by luxury mini van to the town of Bansko – world famous winter resort and Architectural reserve. Accommodation at 4* SPA hotel in the center of the town. Lunch. In the afternoon walking city tour of Bansko – you will visit the Holly Trinity church, the icon exhibition of Bansko Art School, the Velyanova House and an ethnographic exhibition-bazaar of traditional crafts. Dinner in local tavern with life music. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Breakfast. Departure to the Park for Dancing Bears in Belitsa, located 12 km from Bansko. The Park actually is a Center for rehabilitation of Dancing bears. It is a joint project by two of Europe’s largest nature conservation foundations: International foundation of Animal Rights “Four Paws”, with Headquarter in Austria and “Bridgette Bardot” foundation, located in France. The Park is located over 76 square kilometers and it is the largest nature conservation project in the Balkan Peninsula. Within the Park borders you will see 22 dancing bears from Bulgaria and Serbia. Lunch in the area of the Park. In late afternoon back to Bansko. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 4: Breakfast. Transfer to SPA Resort “Ognyanovo” for swimming in swimming pool with mineral water, massage, etc. Lunch & free at leisure. Back to Bansko. On the way stop over for visiting Leshten & Kovachevitsa villages, dubbed the Bulgarian Hollywood. The walking tour will take to the St.Nikolas church, the gallery-workshop of the artist Georgi Popov and the Kapsazovi Houses. The road proceed to Bansko. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Breakfast. Departure for the town of Melnik – the smallest town in Bulgaria with 300 citizens only - famous with its wine industry. Visiting the wine cellar Damianitza near the town – Western region, where the famous Melnik red and white wine has been produced. A visit of vineyards in the Melnik region and the oldest underground cellar, dug straight into the sandstone. Lunch at typical style Melnik house. In the afternoon – back to Bansko. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Breakfast. Departure to Sofia. On the way visiting the World Famous Rila Monastery – (under UNESCO protection), picturesque located in the heart of Rila Mountains. It is the most famous monument of Bulgarian culture, spiritual center of Bulgarians for more than 10 centuries. The icons, iconostasis and murals are samples of the outstanding Bulgarian renaissance art schools from the National Revival period. The interior is a beautiful interlace of colonnades arches, wooden staircases and verandas. The museum keeps a rich collection of books, manuscripts and icons. Lunch at local restaurant. The road continue to Sofia. Accommodation at centrally located 4* hotel. In the evening – dinner in local tavern with folklore program. Overnight.

Day 7: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for fly for home.
