Tour Itinerary:
Day 1.
Meet at your hotel and departure to Brasov. First stop on our way is Sinaia, “The pearl of the Carpathians”, in order to visit Sinaia Monastery and Peles Palace – the royal residence during the monarchy reign in Romania. Lunch in Sinaia(not included). We then leave for Brasov, passing through Predeal, the highest town in Romania. Arrival in Brasov – the main touristic city in Romania. Here we'll visit the Black Church, the largest construction in Gothic style in Eastern Europe, the Town Hall (15th Century) hosting now Brasov's History Museum, the Rope Street and the old town. Dinner and overnight at hotel*** in Brasov.
Day 2.
Breakfast at hotel*** in Brasov and then car transfer to Baile Homorod. We'll pass through Sfantu Gheorghe, and Baile Tusnad, the smallest city in Romania, and stop at Saint Ana Lake - the only volcanic lake in Romania. It has an easel shaped form. Almost distilled, the water is considered to be one of the the purest in the world, but because of its leak in mineral salts, it is not drinkable. St. Ana Lake and it's surrounding area are a natural reservation. Lunch(not included). Tusnad Spa is the smallest town in Romania with 1800 inhabitants is famous for its mineral waters it is also the starting point for some hiking trails in Harghita Mountains. It is situated in Olt River’s narrow path at 650 m. elevation. Departure to Baile Homorod. Dinner and overnight at Baile Homorod at *** Guest House.
Day 3.
Breakfast at *** Guest House. After wards, we will go for an easy hike/horse ride (not included) in the near birch forest – the landscape is marked by its position in the heart of Harghita Mountains. After lunch,(not included) the ones who want to improve their skills, but also the children can take horse riding, horse cart driving or mountaineering lessons. Dinner and overnight at Baile Homorod at *** Guest House.
Day 4.
Breakfast at *** Guest House. Car transfer to Sighisoara, one of the most interesting towns in Romania. Here, in 1433 Vlad the Impaler (known worldwide as Dracula), son of Vlad Dracul, was born. Sighisoara Citadel is part of the UNESCO Patrimony. After lunch (not included) we visit the Clock Tower, the Church on the Hill, The Covered Stairway – it was covered for the children s protection on their way to school – the Monastery Church, the first Dominican monastery (13th Century). Car transfer to Bucharest. Car transfer to Otopeni International Airport is also available.
