They are similar to the tents used in permanent tented game lodges but do not usually have attached showers and toilet at the rear. Canvas mess tents are the rule, sturdy camp furnishings will be of the highest quality, and ice will never be absent. A few extra touches include white cloths on the table, uniformed waiters, and the regular appearance of wine and liquors at meals. The staff are apt to be larger, and the service more polished. Indeed, the entire tone of the safari is more formal.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi - Sweetwaters.

On arrival, met by our representative and commence your safari to the exquisite Sweetwaters Tented Camp in the secluded heart of the Ol pejeta Ranch and Rhino sanctuary. Here Rhinos are given protection and well notably don't forget to visit Chimpanzee sanctuary. Lunch will be served at the Camp. Sweetwaters is built in a private ranch and supports large number of game which include elephant, giraffe etc and its only here you have an excess of night games. Dinner and overnight at luxurious Sweetwaters Tented Camp (B,L,D).

Day 2: Sweetwaters - Samburu.

After breakfast, drive further north to Samburu Game Reserve . It's located high above the banks of the life-giving Uaso Nyiro River in the Shaba Game Reserve. This lodge cleverly incorporates the beautiful natural springs as one of its special features, and also offers the perfect base from which to explore the Shaba Reserve, as well as its sister reserve - Buffalo Springs to the west. Lunch will be served in at the lodge. Afternoon game viewing in the reserve filled with the scenic beauty. The reserve is renowned for its unique species of animals that includes Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Generuk and the Grevys Zebra among others. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Samburu Larsens Tented Camp (B,L,D).

Day 3: Samburu.

Before dawn your driver guide will be ready for the early morning search of hunting cats. Later you will return to lodge for breakfast and relax at the swimming pool before your next game drive late afternoon. All meals & overnight at Samburu Larsens Tented Camp (B,L,D).

Day 4: Samburu - Lake Nakuru.

After an early breakfast bid farewell to Shaba as you drive south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya, until you get to Nanyuki town. Here you'll head west to Nyahururu Falls, still known to many as Thomson's falls for its 237ft cascade. After a brief stopover, drive southward to your next destination, Lake Nakuru a home to a million of flamingoes beautifully lining at its shores. Lake Nakuru National surrounds lake and was gazette to protect the colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for the endangered species as such the rhino. Other Savannah games are abounded in and not mention other bird species.
Lake Nakuru Lodge situated in the south ecological niche of the park is an oasis of comfort with a commanding views of lesser flamingoes dotted with the greater flamingoes. An afternoon game drive around the lakeshore with be the feature for the afternoon, dinner & overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (B,L,D).

Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara.

Early breakfast at your lodge, depart flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru and proceed southwards and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment and proceed to Masai Mara. Masai Mara crown's the climax of every safari in Kenya for it's breathtaking views, wildlife and birdlife wealth. It boarders serengeti to the north and supports a huge number of game e.g. large herds of elephant, rhino, giraffe, buffalo and their predators abound e.g. lion, leopard, crocodile etc and not to mention the spectacular annual migration of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles.
Lunch to be served at your lodge. Your accommodation for the next two nights will be at one of the excellent lodge Mara Sarova Tented Camp . After lunch and some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool, you will depart with your driver guide for an afternoon game drive in search of the big five. As sun starts to edge dip into the horizon it will be perfect time to photograph the beautiful Mara rolling plains. Don't forget this is the right time to spot the shy leopard. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp (B,L,D).

Day 6: Masai Mara.

The day will start with an early morning game drive before dawn and later return to your camp for breakfast and relax for the rest of late morning and perhaps take a dip at the swimming pool. Later late afternoon return to the wilderness in search of games, all meals and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp (B,L,D).

Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi.

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch at Toona Tree Restaurant. Later in the evening, a complimentary dinner at Carnivore Restaurant hosted by our company. Later you will be transferred to Nairobi Safari Club the only all suite hotel in the city (B,L,D).

Day 8: Nairobi.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for scheduled International departure flight.
