Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Meeting and transfer from Florence Airport or Rail station to Il Borgo, 40 minutes from Florence. Evening meal at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Sightseeing in the medieval towns of San Gimignano and Certaldo. Optional lessons of Conversational Italian, Photography, Tuscan Cooking. Tuscan Buffet at Il Borgo.

Day 3: Visit the Chianti Wine Region from Greve to Volpaia, Castellina and Montefioralle with wine tastings. Optional lessons of Italian, Tuscany Art and History. Evening meal at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Visit ancient towns of Lucca and Pisa. Optional lessons in Italian and Tuscan Cooking. Evening meal in a Tuscan Trattoria.

Day 5: Explore the artistic and architectural heritage of Florence. Optional lessons in Ceramic Painting, Chianti Wines and Watercolors. Candlelit dinner at Il Poggio restaurant.

Day 6: Visit Tuscany's medieval jewel, Siena. Optional lessons in Ceramic Painting, Chianti Wines and Photography. Dinner at the private castle, Castello di Santa Maria Novella.

Day 7: Visit the Etruscan town of Volterra. Optional lessons in Italian and Tuscan Cooking. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 8: Check out - transfers provided to Florence.

4 days programs available upon request. 7 nights accommodation at Il Borgo, a village formed by farm buildings renovated using local materials. There are 25 units accommodating from 1 to 5 persons, each with bedroom, bath, living room with fireplace, balcony or terrace and kitchens. Daily breakfast delivered to your door, Tuscan lunches and dinners, Chianti Wine tasting, and special dinner in a private medieval castle. Transportation for sightseeing as per itinerary and transfers.

Accommodations and Tuscany sightseeing included. Your driver will take you to the places within the selected itinerary. If you are 5 or more persons, sightseeing guides and entrance fees included. If 4 or less these are additional. Optional courses available in the afternoons at nominal cost.
