7 Day Trek (fully porter supported) + 5 Day Safari
The following Package is a group itinerary, which means that you will be grouped with fellow travellers. The maximum group size is 16 and the minimum 2 persons. This Package will always begin on a Monday, though we are able to organise additional nights at the hotel before or after the Package if you need this to fit your flight schedule.
For your Kilimanjaro climb you will be provided with Tents and sleeping mats. For your safari we have 2 options - Basic camping (tent and sleeping mats provided) or Hotel/Tented accommodation.
* Trips run from January - March & June - September.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to the Hotel. Breakfast Included.
Day 2: Walk from Machame Gate to Machame camp (3000m, 5 hours).
Day 3: Walk from to Shira Camp (3840m, 5 hours).
Day 4: Walk to Barranco Camp (3950m, 5 hours).
Day 5: Continue to Karanga Camp (4200m, 3 hours).
Day 6: Continue to Barafu Camp (4600m, 4 hours). Rest before the midnight ascent to the summit.
Day 7: Ascend Uhuru Peak (5895m, 7 hours), descend to Barafu for lunch and a rest before descending to Mweka Camp (3100m, 5-6 hours from summit).
Day 8: Descend to Mweka Gate, 3-4 hours. Drive back to the Hotel (Lunch and Breakfast included).
Day 9: Drive from Moshi to Manyara National Park, (4 hours). Visit Lake Manyara Park. Overnight at basic camp or Hotel.
Day 10: Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge. Afternoon game drive and overnight at Camp (basic camp) or Tented Camp (mobile camp).
Day 11: After breakfast. Explore Serengeti Park. Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Gorge Camp (basic camp) or Serengeti Wild Camp (mobile camp).
Day 12: Morning game drive in Serengeti then on to campsite (Ngorongoro) or Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 13: Half-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. In the afternoon return to Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport or Moshi.
