Flight to Churchill. Upon arrival in Churchill, Manitoba, embark on our ship, Lyubov Orlova, which will be our home for the next 9 days. Ship: Lyubov Orlova. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2: Walrus Island, Nunavut.

Today we start off on our journey to Walrus Island, Nunavut. Experience Whalrus's natural habitat. This small, rocky outcrop in the northern reaches of Hudson Bay is a favorite haul-out for hundreds of walrus. We travel by zodiac along the shore and marvel at the size and number of these massive creatures with their gleaming ivory tusks, so awkward on land but incredibly agile in the water. Ship: Lyubov Orlova. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 3: Digges Island and Mansel Island, Nunavik.

Today we explore Digges Island and Mansel Island. At Digges Island, we visit the spot where Henry Hudson first encountered native Inuit. We cruise along the cliff face and visit Mansel Island, a favourite place for walrus and polar bear. Ship: Lyubov Orlova. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4: Inukjuaq, Nunavik.

This morning after breakfast, we spend today exploring Inukjuaq. This Hudson Bay community has a wonderful Inuit cultural artifact museum, surrounded by expansive plateaus with breathtaking views of lakes and rivers. We stroll across the tundra, keeping watch for wildlife and important archaeological sites. Ship: Lyubov Orlova. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: Kangiqsujuaq, Nunavik.

This morning we wake up to the sounds of eagles and ospreys; the pungent smell of fresh ocean air, and sweeping views over the bay. We head off after breakfast to explore Kangiqsyjuaq. Passing through a deep fiord with steep rocky walls, we anchor in Wakeham Bay. We feast on locally harvested foods, and enjoy an amazing performance of traditional Inuit throat singing and drum dancing. Ship: Lyubov Orlova. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 6: At Sea.

Ship: Lyubov Orlova. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 7: Akpatok Island, Nunavik.
