June: in Siracusa for the classical representations and a few days to the wonderful Sicilian seaside! Still in the myth. To Siracusa for the classic representations of the Greek Theater, a unique experience, even if you don't know the text of the tragedies: staying sit on the rocks that form the theater tiers will be a sacrifice fully repaid by the personal enrichment that you'll get. The atmosphere, the sounds, everything spread the great Greek culture and let us discover or rediscover an extraordinary culture, often ignored because considered boring. But in Siracusa it isn't so, I swear!
Besides this experience, our stay in Sicily will be dedicated to sun and sea, to the visit of the historical city center of Siracusa, the Ortigia, until the coast of Noto, to get in touch with the Sicilian Baroque. And, of course, we'll taste the delicious enogastronomic products, with a cooking drink in a farmhouse: with a good glass of local wine, we will participate to the preparation of a typical dish!
Everything thanks to our personal traveler that will support you during the trip and will let you discover the most authentic aspects of this wonderful corner of Sicily. For the accomodation we've chosen a very cute B&B, in Ortigia historical city center. Sicily has so many things to offer and we'll have just a taste of it in a few days but it will be a great experience as well: the availability is limited, so hurry up and book!
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Thursday, June 11th 2009. Arrive in Catania airport, everyone will reach Siracusa on its own (if everybody will arrive more or less at the same hour we can arrange a transfer), meeting with our personal traveler at about 06:00 pm. Evening in center for a first tour with the personal traveler and dinner together.
Day 2: Friday, June 12th 2009. Morning tour of Ortigia and a bit of sunbathing on the coast, return to B&B at about 04:00 pm. 05:00 pm transfer to the Greek Theater; 06:30 pm starts the exhibition.
Day 3: Saturday, June 13th 2009. Departure for the seaside in the early morning, until Noto, some hours relaxing to the beach and at about 05:00 pm transfer to Noto center, where we'll visit the city center and we'll have dinner.
Day 4: Sunday, June 14th 2009. Morning in Siracusa, 11:30 am cooking drink - snack together and greetings.
