May 22nd - 25th, together in Camargue to the Gypsies Feast!
The music, the colors, the traditions of Camargue explode for this feast that reunites all the gypsies of Europe, at the end of May.
Camargue and Provence are at their top spring splendor, so the trip will be the right chance to discover or rediscover those countrysides, those villages and those colors that inspired the great Van Gogh. The atmosphere is unique, Camargue nature is enchanting, the appeal of the feast extraordinary, an unmissable event if you love traditions and people!
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1, Friday, May 22nd 2009: 10:00 am departure by bus GT from Florence stop in Genoa to let the other passengers from Piedmont and Lomabrdia per far salire chi proviene dalla zone limitrofe e Piemonte-Lombardia. Just a snack and then we go 07:30 pm arrive in Arles and accomodation in a very cute 2 star hotel.
Day 2, Saturday, May 23rd 2009: Morning in Arles, tour of the city. 11:30 am transfer to Les Baux de Provence, to visit the center and the castle from which admire a great Camargue panorama. Les Baux is famous for its wines, the well preserved historical center, the shops. Free lunch. Early afternoon: transfer to Avignone where we will visit the Popes Palace and the historical city center. Dinner in center. Overnight stay in Avignone.
Day 3, Sunday, May 24th 2009: The gypsies feast starts with the morning Mass and continues with various events all day long and we won't even miss a minute, until the guardians, the gypsies group will arrive from the sea with Saint Sara, everything to the rhythm of gypsy music... Free lunch, dinner still to arrange. Overnight stay in Arles.
Day 4, Monday, May 25th 2009: Early departure for Italy. Stop in Saint Paul de Vence. Arrive in Florence at about 05:00 pm.

- 3 nights accomodation in a 2 star hotel, 400mt far from Arles city center, a small hotel but really cute and comfortable.
- Transfer from and to Florence, all transfers according to program.
