January discovering a Venice without tourists, to admire it in its real splendor, to appreciate every single corner. In a Venice full of "calli" and bridges, squares and fields, buildings and canals, we will be fascinated by its beauty. This year we will visit the Guggenheim Foundation that hosts the works of artists such as Picasso, Braque, Duchamp, Mondrian, Kandinsky, Klee, Magritte, Dalí, Pollock (to name only but a few) and we will experience the visit to the Jewish side of Venice, from the Jewish Museum to the synagogues, to discover the history of a people and its bond with the city.
With the assistance of our personal traveler, you'll be able to manage your time in Venice, with the support of a person that knows deeply the town and that will help you break the ice. Our personal travelers are experts of the place you'll visit. Their presence is an important benchmark for you, to "break the ice", as female travelers usually don't know each other before the departure. Here's the program:
Day 1, Saturday, January 24th 2009:
Arrive in Venice according to your schedule and accomodation at the hotel
01:00 pm: meeting with our personal traveler to break the ice and then first tour of the city - from San Marco Square to the less known squares and calle, without left behind some stops in those beautiful Venice handicraft jewellery's. Dinner and after dinner together.
Day 2, Sunday, January 25th 2009:
10:00 am entrance to the Guggenheim Foundation and visit of the permanent collections.
Lunch together - typical "cicchetto" to an ostaria
greetings.
