Situated in the middle of the jungle, half an hour by boat from Manaus. The Ecopark has an information post for those visitors interested in discovering the mysteries and wonders of the tropical lush grove. Bungalows, with air conditioning and private toilet, integrate completely with the natural Environment. Find all the comfort in this exotic house with 60 rooms and 2 restaurants with capacity for 300 people. On the 30 minute trip to Amazon Ecopark, visitors are told about the historical and geographical aspects of the Amazonia. Upon arrival, guests are given a brief explanation on the premises. Guided visit all around the park. During the walk they mention the characteristics of the local flora and fauna.
The Ecopark was one of the first to give lessons on survival in the jungle. Bilingual guides with extensive in-depth knowledge on the subject show how and where to find edible fruits and potable water, idea on first aid, how to make a coat and build bridges using ropes, how to find one’s way in the jungle and much more. This course on survival is only available in specific packages and for groups.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer to Amazon Ecopark. Welcome glass of juice from fresh fruits and check in. Dinner and night boat ride for observation of alligators. Return and overnight.
Day 2: Breakfast and walk through the jungle. Return for lunch and brief rest. Visit small villages of the caboclos, chance to catch piranhas. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Breakfast and visit Floresta de los Simios. Check out at 11:30hs and return to Manaus. Arrival at about 12:30hs.
