Machipicchu is a citadel shrouded in mystery, and to this day archaeologists have not uncovered the history and purpose of this city of stone. The site has an area of about one square kilometer, and stands in a region that the Incas considered to be magical, due to the meeting of the Andes Mountains with the mighty Amazon River.

Day 1: Cusco - Amparaes - Inti Watana - Aguas Calientes
Motorcycle machupicchu day 1Early in the morning around 7am we depart to the Sacred Valley of the Incas along 65 km of an asphalt road arriving into the village of Ollantaytambo. Afterwards we will start the climb up to the pass of Malaga (4120 metres above the sea level) along a zig zag bitumen road, observing one of the most fantastic landscapes of the Peruvian Andes. Then we will descend to an altitude of approximately 800 metres looking at the amazing variation of weather and vegetation in the alto-andina region to the almost-tropical region since the intiwatana valley is located in the amazonic jungle of Peru. Arrival into Aguas Calientes and sleep over at designated hotel. Distance: 160 km on dirt road and 80 km on asphalted highway.
Day 2: Machu Picchu (Train Ride In/Out)
The excursion to the citadel of Machu Picchu starts very early. After breakfast you will be transferred to the station to board the bus to the Inca ruins of Machupicchu. You have more than 6 hours for visit Machu Picchu until the return to Aguas Calientes. Day 3: Inti Huatana / Cusco
