Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Săo Paulo:
Arrive to Săo Paulo, where you'll spend the day relaxing in this bustling Brazilian metropolis. Overnight Săo Paulo.
Day 2: Manaus:
Catch an early flight to Manaus, where you'll have a free afternoon at your hotel. Overnight Manaus.
Day 3: Tapajós region:
In the morning visit the Opera House and the main market of Manaus with your local host, before taking a commercial flight to Santarém. Upon arrival in Santarém, transfer to the boat to begin the cruise.
Day 4: Tapajós region:
Visit a fascinating Indian community, one which is rarely visited by foreign travelers.
Day 5: Tapajós region:
Trek on the flona of the Tapajós region with your naturalist guides.
Day 6: Tapajós region:
Enjoy a gorgeous sunrise on the Serra da Piroca and visit the Arapiúns River.
Day 7: Jari Channel:
Leave early in the morning for the Jari Channel. The channel has yellow water, which is much richer in sediments than the Arapiuns and Tapajos. More wildlife and many farms can be seen along its margins. At the end of the channel, you'll visit Arapixuna community.
Day 8: Salvador:
End the cruise and transfer to a commercial flight to elsewhere in Brazil or home.
