Day 1:
You will overnight tonight at the Cape Town Hollow, a small privately owned hotel chosen for its charm and ideal location.
Day 2:
This morning you will discover Cape Town - or the "Mother City" as it is affectionately known and indeed it is one of the most beautiful cities of the world. Rich in history - you will visit the Castle, and the historic city center, it is also the Parliamentary capital of South Africa - you will visit the Houses of Parliament and Company Gardens, and rich in European and Cape Malay culture - you will stop at the colourful Malay Quarter and also the bustling market at Greenmarket Square. Weather permitting, we will ascend Table Mountain (own cost) for spectacular views over the entire Cape Peninsula. At the end of the tour, you may choose to be dropped off at your accommodation or at the vibrant Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, a working harbor, with many shops, restaurants and outdoor performers. Includes: (B).
Day 3:
Your guide will meet you this morning for an awe-inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way. We travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point and continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. Optional : Seal Island boat trip (seasonal and at own cost). We continue through Constantia Nek and Ou Kaapse weg, breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature reserve, which has a wide variety of plant bird and animal life, and where we witness the symbolic meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. This afternoon we go on to Simon's Town, a village with a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. The tour ends at +/- 17:30 after a visit to the well-known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and you will be dropped off at the Cape Town Hollow for over night . Includes: (B).
