Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Frankfurt to Würzburg:
Pick up your AVIS rental car (Group H, e.g. Mercedes A-class incl. GPS, AC, CDW, taxes, airport surcharge) at Frankfurt Airport or Frankfurt City Centre, drive on the Autobahn (highway) from Frankfurt to Würzburg, Accommodation: 3* Hotel Strauss (or similar) in Würzburg City Centre (includes buffet breakfast).
Day 2: Würzburg to Rothenburg ob der Tauber:
Scenic drive through the Tauber Valley along the Romantic Road to the medieval Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Accommodation: 3* Hotel Spitzweg (or similar), located in the Old Town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber within the Old Town Wall (includes buffet breakfast).
Day 3: Rothenburg ob der Tauber to Nördlingen:
Scenic drive along the Romantic Road via Dinkelsbühl to the medieval Nördlingen, Accommodation: 3* NH Hotel Klösterle (or similar), located in the Old Town of Nördlingen (includes buffet breakfast).
Day 4: Nördlingen to Augsburg:
Scenic drive along the Romantic Road via Donauwörth to Augsburg, Accommodation: 3* Hotel Riegele (or similar), located in Augsburg City Centre (includes buffet breakfast).
Day 5: Augsburg to Neuschwanstein Castle:
Scenic drive along the Romantic Road via Landsberg am Lech and Wieskirche to Hohenschwangau for a visit of Neuschwanstein Castle (admission not included). Accommodation: 3* Schlosshotel Lisl (or similar), located in Hohenschwangau right below Neuschwanstein Castle (includes buffet breakfast).
Day 6: Hohenschwangau to Munich:
Scenic drive through the Alps to Linderhof Palace (admission not included). Drive on the Autobahn to Munich. Return your rental car in Munich City Centre, Munich Airport, Frankfurt City Centre or Frankfurt airport.
Please note: it is possible to extend your car rental and to upgrade the car.
