Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon Arrival at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado, Meeting Service and directly drive one and a half hour to Tomohon a pleasant and cool little town setting below Lokon Volcano 1580m. Upon Arrival in Tomohon, check- in for accommodation at cottages with view overlooking The Lokon Volcano. Dinner will be served at hotel, overnight. Includes: (D).
Day 2: After breakfast, by car exploring The Minahasa Highland and visit Tinoor mountain area to see a spectacular view overlooking Manado city The Capital Province of North Sulawesi which is backgrounded by The Sulawesi Sea,and viewed Bunaken Island from a distance. Visit Woloan village to see The Minahasan Traditional Houses being built and are made to order. Visit Temboan hill to see a stunning view overlooking The Lake Tondano that supplies the sweet-water fishes to the local fishermen who live around that lake. Visit The Lake Linow a small highly Sulphurous lake which changes colors with the light, is home to extensive bird life. Lunch will be served at Tondano Lake side restaurant, while enjoying the lake breeze. After lunch, visit Pulutan village to see home industries of poetries which are made traditionally. Return to hotel at noon. Dinner will be served at hotel. Cultural performances can be performed upon request. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 3: After breakfast, visit The Traditional Market in Tomohon to explore the highlight around the market, and see Dog’s meat, Bats and Rats being sold as luxurious food among The Minahasan, and experience the bargaining system with traders. Proceed to hike up to The Mount Mahawu 1500meters takes one hour on foot to reach the crater, where a stunning view awaits you there. Hike down mountain and continued to Tondano Lake side restaurant for lunch. After lunch, visit Watu Pinabetengan a place of immense spiritual significance for the Minahasan. It is a stone on a summit, said to be the place where the lands of Minahasa were first divided around 670 AD. Return to hotel at noon. Dinner will be served at hotel. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 4: After breakfast, drive to Airmadidi and see the odd little pre-Christian Tombs known as “Waruga.” Corpses were placed in these carved stone boxes in fetal position with house hold articles, gold and porcelain. Continued drive to Tangkoko National Park, the 8800 hectares are home to Black Macaques, Cuscus, Tarsier, Maleo birds and endemic red knobbed horn bills. Upon arrival in Batu putih village, directly check-in for accommodation at Guest house near The Tangkoko National Park. Lunch will be served on the seaside by picnic style on the beach near The Tangkoko National Park. After lunch, explore the park for four hours on foot. Return to guest house at noon. Dinner will be served at guest house. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 5: Get up early morning, and explore the Park on foot to see the activity in the jungle, mainly to witness how the small Primate Tarsius return home after along night catch the prey. Tarsius live in family groups of up to eight, and spend most of the day in trees. They have a curious “song” which they use when defending their territory. After the sun rise, return to Guest House for breakfast. Before midday, by car leaving for Manado to Sam Ratulangi Air Port to catch the flight for Makassar the Capital Province of South Sulawesi which is takes one and a half hour flight. Lunch will be served at the Air port in Manado. Upon Arrival in Makassar directly drive to hotel and on the way visit Paotere Harbour to see The Bugis Sailing Ships berth and there is usually lots of activity on the dock. Check-in at noon in hotel. Dinner served at hotel. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 6: After Breakfast, by car leaving for Rantepao which is takes eight hours drive over lowland roads and see the Buginese Traditional house set on stilt. On the way, visit the Phinisi boat workers in constructing the boat in traditional style. Lunch will be served on the sea side Restaurant overlooking The Sulawesi Sea. After lunch, continue drive to Rantepao through winding mountain road and stop over at Bambapuang to see a spectacular view overlooking the green valley and The Sadang River flows meandering through the valley. Upon arrival in Rantepao, check-in for accommodation at hotel which is located in the middle of rice field. Dinner will be served at hotel. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 7: After breakfast, a full day excursion in Toraja land by car to visit Lemo the most interesting burial area in Toraja land with the sheer rock face has a whole series of balconies for Tau-Tau. Visit Sangalla to see baby grave carved on the tree trunk. Visit the traditional village and burial side at Ke’te Kesu, where there are some grave caves and very old hanging grave full of bones and skulls. Lunch will be served at panoramic restaurant, Located in the middle of rice field. After lunch, a four kilometers hiking through the Torajan villages with a beautiful rice field view. Return to the hotel at noon. Dinner will be served at hotel. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 8: After breakfast, by car heading north of Rantepao visit Bori to see Rante memorial site of funeral ceremony contents with huge Menhirs where the water buffaloes were slaughtered during funeral ceremony and stone grave carvers are working to dig out the rock. Proceed to drive up mountain to Batutumonga where a spectacular view set from high altitude. Lunch will be served at panoramic restaurant in Batutumonga. After lunch, hike down the mountain to Tikala village on foot and on the way visit the black smith workers are working at their huts and produced farming tool and knifes. Proceed to visit the cliff cave at Marante village. At noon return to hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 9: After breakfast leaving for Pare Pare by car which takes five hour drive. Pare-Pare is a quiet stop over between Toraja Land and Makassar and the second largest port in the region also nominated as the first of the cleanest town in South Sulawesi. Stop over at Bambapuang to see a spectacular view overlooking the green valley and The Sadang river flows meandering on the valley. Lunch will be served en-route. Upon arrival in Pare Pare, directly check-in for accommodation at hotel which is located on the hillside overlooking the Sulawesi Sea. Free to leisure. Dinner will be served at hotel restaurant while enjoying some music. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 10: After breakfast, leaving for Makassar by car takes three and a half hour drive before catching the flight to Manado. On the way, passing rice field and the Buginese village with their traditional house set on stilt. Upon arrival in Makassar, directly catch the flight for Manado which is takes one and a half hour. Lunch will be served at the airport in Makassar. Upon arrival in Manado, directly drive to the harbor which is takes half and hour. Upon arrival at the harbor in Manado, directly embark on motor boat and leaving for Bunaken Island which is takes forty minutes. Bunaken boasts some of the world’s most spectacular and accessible coral drop-offs, caves and valleys, full of brightly colored sponges and fishes. Upon arrival in Bunaken Island, directly check-in for accommodation on the sea side cottages. Free for leisure, or alternatively you might go snorkeling right in front of your private bungalow. Dinner will be served at Cottage. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 11: Today is a free program, alternatively you might go snorkeling by your own, or diving for the one who has diving license might join the dive operator from the Cottage or you can visit the Bunaken village which is interesting to explore on foot and see their way of life. Lunch will be served at Cottage. Dinner will be served at Cottage. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 12: After breakfast, embark on motor boat for a full day snorkeling trip combined with dolphin trip, around Bunaken Island one of the best diving and snorkeling site in the world. Visiting included the tiny Siladen Island and the most popular dive site” Lekuans” which is famous with a beautiful drop-offs and full of fish include the white tip shark and many more. Lunch will be served on Siladen Island by picnic style. Return to Cottage at noon, dinner served at Cottage. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 13: After breakfast, embark on the boat and leaving for a full day snorkeling trip and combined with dolphin watch in the vicinity of Siladen Island where there is a big chance to see a group of Dolphins such as the bottle nose Dolphins, common Dolphins and The spinner Dolphins. Proceed to go snorkeling at Mantehage Island that offers a spectacular view of marine life. Lunch-box will be served on board. After lunch, go snorkeling at one of the diving spot called Celah-celah that offer a great opportunity for Snorkeler to view underneath marine life with a spectacular view underwater. Return to Cottage at noon. Dinner will be served at Cottage. Overnight. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 14: Today before midday, embark on motor boat and leaving for Manado and proceed transferred-out by car to The Sam Ratulangi International Airport for your next destination. The end of our services. Includes: (B, L).
