Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Addis Ababa, Bole Airport and met your Guide. Transfer to a hotel. Overnight Addis Ababa.
Day 2: Early in the morning after breakfast drive to the town of Dejen. Crossing the Blue Nile gorge which resembles the Grand Canyon in USA. Visit the “Portuguese bridge” and the Gelada Baboons and proceed for 13th century monastery of Debre Libanos. Overnight Dejen.
Day 3: Early in the morning after breakfast, Drive to the town of Bahar Dar. Overnight Bahar Dar.
Day 4: Early in the morning drive to Blue Nile Falls around 35 km from the town and visit the Blue Nile Falls “Tissi ssat” (smoking water) up on, return, make a sightseeing of Bahar Dar. After lunch, make a boat trip on Lake Tana, to visit the Monasteries of Ura kidane Meheret and Kibran Gabriel. Overnight Bahar Dar.
Day 5: After having your breakfast drive to the town of Gondar through the Fogera plain and the mountains of Addis Zemen. Check – in at a hotel and after lunch in the afternoon be at leisure. Overnight Gondar.
Day 6: Visit the city of Gondar which includes the Castle compound, Emperor Fasildas bath and Debre Birhan Selassie church, famous for its age old mural paintings. Overnight Gondar.
Day 7: After an early breakfast drive to the town of Lalibela. Overnight Lalibela.
Day 8: After breakfast visit the 12 th century Rock-hewn churches of Lalibela. In the morning visit the first group Rock–hewn churches. After lunch the second group Rock–hewn churches of Lalibela. Overnight Lalibela.
Day 9: After an early breakfast Trekking to Asheton Mariam church (church of Marry) and have the view of the village. After lunch your leisure time, Overnight Lalibela.
Day 10: Early in the morning drive to the town of Kombolcha with good scenery and visit Lake Hayk around 28 km from the town of Dessie with the monastery of st. Stephen. Overnight Kombolcha.
Day 11: After breakfast drive to Addis Ababa through shoan plateau and en route stop at “Ghemasa Ghedel” enjoy the view and troops of Gelada Baboons Endemic to Ethiopia. Overnight Addis Ababa.
Day 12: City tour of Addis Ababa including National museum, Archaeological museum, mt. Entoto and “Merkato” the largest colorful market in Eastern Africa. Transfer to Bole International Airport for Final departure.
