Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Addis Ababa, met your Guide at the Airport and Transfer to Hotel. Overnight Addis Ababa.
Day 2: After breakfast drive to Hosanna visit Melka Quntture Archaeological site (50 km south west of A.A.). This Archaeological site dating back to over 1.5 million years old, believed to be the home of Neolithic man., Adadi mariam church – 90 km south of A.A. this cave church, dating back to the lalibela era., Tiya stelae – Archaeological site contains 36 monuments, including 32 carved stelae on which symbols are en graved, registered in the world Heritage list of the UNESCO, and rural villages. Overnight Hosanna camping or in a hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast drive from Hosanna to Arbamich, on the way visit the superb landscape of south Ethiopia. Overnight Arbaminch.
Day 4: After breakfast in the morning visit Dorze village, in the afternoon drive to Netch Sar National park. Overnight Arbaminch.
Day 5: After breakfast drive to Jinka, on the way visit, Tsemai, Bena and Ari tribes. Overnight Jinka in a Hote.
Day 6: After breakfast drive across the Mago River in to the highlands of the Omo River and visit Mursi Villages. (Mursi people are very colorful with a lot of body decoration, Ornaments and most remarkable characteristic is the lip disk for which they are famous over the world). Overnight Mago camping.
Day 7: After breakfast drive to Murle on the way visit karo Village and wildlife (Karo people are noted for their colorful body painting). Overnight Murle camping.
Day 8: After breakfast drive to Omorate visit the Bume and back to Omorate. Overnight camping Omorate.
Day 9: After breakfast drive from Omorate to Turmi visit the Godeb, Hamer people. Overnight Turmi camping.
Day 10: After an early breakfast drive to Chew Bahir dead lake and proceed to Erbore and Tsemai Village. Overnight Arbaminch.
Day 11: After breakfast drive to Awassa. Overnight Awassa.
Day 12: After an early breakfast boat trip on Lake Awassa and drive back to Addis Ababa, on the way visit Lake Zway, the first to be seen among the Rift Valley lakes and shelters a variety of water birds. Overnight Addis Ababa.
Day 13: After breakfast city tour of Addis Ababa includes National museum (exhibits the 3.5 million years old female fossil called “Lucy”.), Archaeological museum, mt. Entoto and “Merkato” the largest colorful market in Eastern Africa. Transfer to Bole International Airport for final departure.
