First contact with Romania will be at Bucharest with a walking tour. Curtea de Arges monastery, Poienari castle (the real Dracula castle), Vidraru Dam and Cozia Monastery will be seen on the way to Sibiu. The third day will be dedicated to Sibiu city and museums. Next day we will go to Balea Lake for hiking Fagaras Mountains: Capra Lake, Caltun Lake and Negoiu peak (2 535m) the second highest in Romania. In the sixth day we will visit Sambata Monastery, Brasov city, Rasnov Castle and Bran Castle (Draculas castle). On the way to Sinaia we will do a hike in Bucegi Mountains. We will visit Sinaia Monastery and Peles Castle (the summer residence of Romanian royal family) at Sinaia. The last night will be spent in Bucharest.
