Fist stop of the trip is at Sinaia where Peles castle and Sinaia monastery will be visited. Sighisoara is our next stop, the medieval town is the birth place of Dracula. The main city of Transylvania is Cluj Napoca, the cultural center of the region with an antic history. On the way to Sibiul we’ll stop at Turda to see the salt mine and at Alba Iulia, the city of the Great Union in 1918. Sibiu is the cultural capital of Europe and the best fortified city of Transylvania and of Austro Hungarian empire, after Vienna. Balea Lake is the most beautiful lodge in Romanian Carpathians and Sambata monastery is a precious site for Romanians. Approx. Departure Time:09:00. Distance Covered:1026 km.
