This semi autonomous and heavily Tibetan influenced region was "described by Tilman as fascinatingly ugly country, the more fascinating for being so little known" indeed, the trek to LO – Manthang is through an almost treeless barren landscape, a steep rocky trail up and down hill, panoramic view of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and several others peaks make your trek memorable.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Sightseeing trip. Sight seeing around Kathmandu valley, hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu - Pokhara. Departure transfer to domestic airport for Kathmandu-Pokhara flight. Meet upon arrival in Pokhara and transfer to hotel.

Day 4: Pokhara - Jomsom- Trek to Kagbeni. Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni (3 hrs).

Day 5: Kagbeni (2800) - Chele( 3050) 7hrs. Trek Kagbeni (2800) to Chele( 3050) 7hrs.

Day 6: Trek Chele to Shyammochen (3300) 7 hrs. Chele/ Shyammochen (3300) 7 hrs

Day 7: Trek Shyammochen to Tsarang (3500) 7/8 hrs. Trek Shyammochen to Tsarang (3500) 7/8 hrs.

Day 8: Trek Tsarang to Lo Mantang (3700) 8 hrs. Trek Tsarang - Marang - Lo Gekar [Gompa G Rimpoce]/ Lo Mantang (3700) 8 hrs.
