Tour Itinerary:

Days 1 & 2: On arrival at Windhoek Airport you'll be met and transferred by light aircraft to the Namib Desert. On arrival you'll be transferred to your luxury lodge. Here in the Sossusvlei, huge towering dunes - said to be the highest in the world - rise dramatically over 1000 feet above the desert. Wildlife here includes Springbok, Gemsbok and Ostrich. Incredible ballooning safaris over the Namib are optional. Overnights at Little Kulala.

Days 3 & 4: Today you fly over the dunes of the Namib and Sossusvlei, continuing to Damaraland. Highlights of this area are nature excursions into the rocky desert, where chances of encountering the rare Desert Elephant and Desert Black Rhino are high. You may also find the strange Welwitschia plant, unique to the Namib. It has a lifespan of 400 - 1500 years. Overnights at Desert Rhino Camp.

Days 5 & 6: Today you are transferred to the remotest camp in Namibia, on the banks of the Kunene River. Enjoy quad biking in the desert, boat cruises on the river, game drives and walks, and interaction with the local Himba tribe. Overnights at Serra Cafema.

Days 7,8 & 9: Transfer to the Ongava Private Game Reserve, adjoining the Etosha National Park. Here you'll experience game drives in Etosha itself and in the private Ongava Reserve. Overnights at Little Ongava.

Days 10 & 11: Transfer to Okonjima, home of the Africat Foundation, dedicated to the rehabilitation of cheetah and leopard. Track cheetah on foot, search for leopards...lots to see and do. Overnights at Okonjima Bush Camp.

Day 12: After an early morning game activity, transfer to Windhoek Airport to connect with your flight home.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

Price includes 11 nights luxury accommodation with all meals, drinks and activities; transfers by light aircraft from Windhoek back to Windhoek. Alternative, less luxurious accommodation will reduce the cost of this tour.
