Chinatown is full of good bargains and deals, foods and rich Chinese culture. You will new Kuala Lumpur. You will also pass the Moorish-styled Federal Court, the Railway station which is a striking piece of Mohammedan architecture, the Tudor styled Cricket Club and the Kings Palace. The last stop will be at the Handicraft center where you can see fine and splendid OE Jewelry making demonstrations.

Across river, visit either the unique Cat Museum or Fort Margherita, passing the magnificent State Mosque and the Astana, the former residence of the White Rajahs. Return via the golden-domed City Mosque and proceed on foot through Old Kuching, visiting the colorful Central Markets and heritage buildings of the White Rajah era, the Pavilion, the Square Tower, the Court House, the Charles Brooke Monument and the Post Office.

Day 6: Semonggok Wildlife Center and Lemanak Longhouse. Today we will visit Semonggok Wild life Center - the best place in Sarawak to view semi-wild orangutans, who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surrounding forest reserve. The rehabilitated animals roam freely in the rain forest, and often return to the center at feeding time. Thanks to the successful breeding program at Semonggok there is a good possibility of experiencing one of the most heart-warming sights in Borneo – an orangutan mother with a young baby. The center is 30 minutes drive from Kuching and another 20 minutes on foot. Along the way you will pass by the ethno-botanical gardens, with their unique collection of rain-forest plants. Semengok also has a number of short collection of rain-forest plants.

Then you will be driven through lush green countryside dotted with padi fields, pepper gardens and rubber plantations, and flanked by rugged jungle-clad mountains. Along the way, stop off at the Serian farmer’s market, visit a pepper garden and view carnivorous pitcher plants. Stop for lunch at a roadside bazaar deep in Iban country. Arrive at Lemanak jetty mid-afternoon for a longboat ride up the Lemanak River, passing through typical Borneo countryside with an ancient longhouse tucked behind almost every bend in the river. Arrive at either Serubah or Nanga Kesit Long house and visit the "entire village under one roof". Tour the long house and enjoy a demonstration of blowpipe shooting. Accommodation at Long house.

Day 7: Lemanak - Kuching. Breakfast at the resort, followed by a short walk with the resort residence naturalist. Depart for Kuching

Day 8: Bako National Park. Excursion to Bako's National Park. The small peninsular where the park is located is home to seven distinct rain forest ecosystems, giving it a remarkable diversity of animal and plant life. Bako’s most famous residents are the bizarre proboscis monkeys, and it is also home to silvered languors (leaf monkeys), long-tailed macaque monkeys, wild boar, flying squirrels and monitor lizards as well as hundreds of different bird species. Fascinating plant life includes mangroves, strangling figs, carnivorous pitcher plants and symbiotic ant plants. Unique geological features mark the coastline, including the famous Sea Stack, whilst well-marked trails lead to rugged jungle-covered hilltops and secluded beaches. Lunch at a local restaurant in the park. Transfer back to hotel in Kuching.

Day 9: Kuching/Singapore. Free and easy at hotel until pick-up transfer to airport for your flight to Singapore. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 10: Singapore. Take a city tour that showcases the history, multi racial culture and lifestyle that is Singapore. See the city's colonial heritage as we drive around the Civic District past the Padang, the Cricket Club, parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Stop at the Merlion Park for great view of Marina Bay and a picture-taking opportunity with the Merlion. A mythological creature that is part lion and part fish.

The tour continues with a visit to the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples on the island, built with donation from the early immigrant workers from China. Next drive past Chinatown to a local handicraft center to watch Asian craftsmanship. From there we proceed to the National Orchid Garden, located within the Singapore Botanic Garden, which boasts sprawling display of 60,000 orchid plants comprising 400 species and more than 2,000 hybrids.
