Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at the airport of Rijeka, meeting with tour guide, departure to Punat, accomodation in hotel. In afternoon visit to island Kosljun.
Day 2: After breakfast we will climb to Obzova and Veli vrh, the highest peaks island of Krk, marked mountaineer's roads which are called Shepard roads. It will take us four hours to climb, at the top we will additionally to beautiful panoramic view, when the weather is fine you can see even Risnjak and Ucka, eat Shepard snack from home made bread and sheep milk cheese from Krk with inevitable maslinovo ulje. We will get down with other road passing through vine yards bounded with traditional old dry stone walls.
Day 3: Today we will acquaint indented coast. With sea kayaks we will go from prom Puntarian inlet to Stara Baska. That part of coast is well known by one of most beautiful beach on Jadransko more, and you can approach it only by the sea side. After a pleasant ride through scars and isles, after getting in little sea caves and swimming in clean sea, if the weather lets us we will go back to Punat. In evening hours we will visit wine-cellar in Vrbnik and taste most known vine on island vrbnicka zlahtina and enjoy it with typical dinner.
Day 4: Island Krk is the biggest island on the Jadransko more and beside beautiful beaches has a delightful inland full of unexplored places, hidden churches, castles and little rivers. Through ancient oak forests, that is why island was called island Aurea, Golden island, we will ride whole day with quads. After we get back to hotel, we will take a rest and refresh in our rooms. We will have genuine farewell party from island of Krk and Punat with real coastal dinner.
Day 5: After breakfast we will visit town Krk, capital city of the island, see the points of interest, walk through narrow streets, drink coffee at waterfront, and then go further in direction of Gorski Kotar. We will visit a place called Lokve and cave Lokvarka and then go to the Delnice the biggest city of the region, where our hotel is.
Day 6: After breakfast we will go to national park Risnjak to see the beauty of it, and the awesome landscape will begin with one of highest tops, Risnjak, which is 1528 m high. After not very demanding climb, it looks more like a walk through mountain, we will take a rest in mountaineer"s house and brace ourselves with indigenous snack. After getting off we will take a break in our hotel with deer for dinner and haunting stories.
Day 7: Today we will acquaint one of the most beautiful rivers in this region of Croatia , river Mreznica. After breakfast we will go to Generalski Stol where we will prepare for rafting on Mreznica. When we get familiar with rafts and rules of that sport, we will pass first stage of our dive. Now we will make a break for lunch, and after we take a rest go on second stage of our dive. Jaded, we will go back to our hotel at deserved repose.
Day 8: After two physically demanding days, we will visit Vrazji prolaz and Zeleni vir, protected canyons of river Jasla and take a walk. Just because it is a walk it doesn’t minimize the beauty of that canyon where cliffs go up more than 100 m and wide rarely goes over 2m. We will visit cave Muzeva Hizica, at and the end we will sweeten with home made strudel stuffed wild fruit.
Day 9: Today we will salute Gorski Kotar and Croatia, after breakfast we will go to airport in Rijeka and say goodbye.
