Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at the airport in Pula, meeting with tour guide, departure in the direction of Rovinj and accommodating in romantic baroque hotel which is situated in historical town center.

Day 2: Today we will visit national park Brijuni, archipelago which because of its beauty always attracted attention. Yet Romans built there summer residences and temples, we have ruins to testify that, after them Byzantine, and in the new time islands were visited by European kings and statesman. His own residency there had even Josip Broz Tito… isn’t that enough prove about their beauty? Today it is a protected area where deer freely graze. After all day spent on Brijuni we’ll go back to Rovinj on fine fisherman dinner.

Day 3: After breakfast we’ll leave Istra and go towards mountain Velebit. North Velebit is the youngest Croatian national park, what doesn’t decrease its beauty. We’ll visit highest meteorological station on Zavizan, then botanical garden on its foothill. We’ll marvel beautiful view while we walk on Premuzic mountain road which was declared one of the most beautiful in Europe. We’ll salute the sea and go on the other side of mountain and stop in Krasno were we will visit many times awarded cheese dairy, and of course taste some cheese from that clean grazing lands. In the evening we’ll come to national park Plitvicka Jezera and accommodate in hotel.

Day 4: This day we’ll dedicate to national park Plitvicka Jezera because it completely deserves to. Wide wood complex, extraordinary beauty of lakes and waterfalls, richness of flora and fauna, mountain air, contrast of autumn colors, forest’s roads and wooden bridges and many other things hat are part of that unrepeatable entirety which even UNESCO declared worlds cultural heritage. After all-day walking we’ll get a rest with dinner in typical house of Lika and go to sleep in our hotel in the middle of the park.

Day 5: After breakfast we’ll leave Plitvice and go towards Zagreb, capital city of Croatia. At our way we’ll visit Rastoke- mill settlement build up on place where green-blue waters of Sluncica flow over cliffs and fall in Korana making numerous waterfalls, rapids, little lakes and cascade. That 300 years old village inter weaved with that game mills, watermills, fish ponds… we’ll walk through Rastoke, in fish pond pick and catch trout, and then eat them with fresh baked bread from old mill. So refreshed we’ll continue our way and when we get to Zagreb we’ll go on the night sightseeing historical town center. We’ll settle in hotel in Medvednica, park of nature which is 15 min of driving from center.

Day 6: Today we’ll visit cave Veternica, one of the longest caves in Croatia which is home for 14 species of bats. Bats are protected animals and experts who take care of them will bring us closer to their way of living. If you won’t to help their work, you can acquire one bat and give him a name. After that journey leads us through beautiful ancient forest with splendid lanes and stairs. And as other forests, even this one hides a legend… legend of Black Queen which we will tell you on source Queens well. Many other secrets Medvednica hides, one of hem is a mine Zrinski which we’ll look around in afternoon, and old town Medvedgrad, home of Black Queen, and after so mush walking, we’ll relax in wellness center in our hotel.

Day 7: After breakfast we’ll continue our journey towards Slavonija. First stop will be Lonjsko polje, the biggest swamp area in Europe which stretches by river Sava and Lonja. In that splendid surrounding horses, pigs and cows peacefully braze, many rare bird have found peace places for their nests, and not only because of natural beauty, but for county architecture of settlements like Krapje, Kratecko or Cigoc- European village of storks. We’ll see around park, refresh with little snack in autochthonic village household and continue our way towards Osijek, the biggest town in this plain part of Croatia.

Day 8: This day we’ll dedicate to park of nature Kopacki rit. It is a unique swamp area full of backwaters between rivers Drava and Dunav. It is a mystique nature full of forests, water, birds, whose pictures changes almost every day, depending on water level of rivers. Particularity and richness of this area is big number of birds who habits here, over 140 species, better known cormorant, white tailed sea eagle, big colony of herons and many others. We will go around park in small boat on oars to not disturb that peace and harmony of sounds of birds, forest, deer… after exhausting day we’ll relax in authentic restaurant in Baranja with typical authentic dinner and tamburitza player.

Day 9: Forenoon we’ll spend in Osijek, roaming in city parks, beautiful secession palaces, pleasant squares… walk through old town, Tvrda… drink coffee on the banks of Drava. In the afternoon we’ll go back to Kopacki rit with off-road vehicle and meet fisherman. We’ll get know with traditional fishing trade, and on the bank of river, next to open fire make a fish paprika stew… in dusk we’ll go back to Osijek jet to enjoy the night atmosphere in town on Drava river.

Day 10: Today our hanging with Slavonia ends, and after breakfast we’ll go towards Karlovac, town on four rivers. To not make travel so boring we’ll stop at Crna Mlaka, one of the biggest fish-pond in Croatia and ornithological reservation, walk through and guest ourselves with fish specialties. After that we’ll continue towards our hotel which is on the banks of Korana, settle in hotel and relax from past days in wellness center.

Day 11: Today journey leads us to Gorski Kotar, mountain area covered with beautiful forests, which are interrupted with green rivers and clearly streams. After breakfast we’ll visit canyon Devils pass and Green swirl. It’s a canyon of river Jasla almost 2 km long, nor 2 m wide, and vertical cliffs can be up to 100 m. at the end we come up to cave Muzeva Hizica and source of Green swirl, where from 70m high cliff splendid waterfall comes to green lake, that is how it got a name. We’ll continue our journey towards Delnice were our hotel is.

Day 12: Ater breakfast will go to national park Risnjak and there we’ll meet ours tour guide, experts who will lead us in search for most known animals of Gorski Kotar, wolf and bear. When we listen introducing lecture in which we’ll closely get know with these animals, we’ll go with all-terrain vehicle in national park and try to find bear of wolf… after hard day and walking through a mountain, we’ll take a break with typical hunting dinner.

Day 13: We’ll still be on Risnjak and visit source of river Kupa, one of the most beautiful rivers in Croatia. In afternoon we’ll go back on sea to circle this journey. We will settle in hotel with marvelous view on Jadransko more on hillside of mountain Ucka. After we refresh, we’ll have a dinner and enjoy on this beautiful view on Kvarner.

Day 14: Today we will visit park of nature Ucka. After few hours of walking we’ll climb up to the highest top of Ucka, Vojak 1401 m high. From belvedere which reminds us on medieval tower you can see a full 360 degrees circle view that takes your breath away: Istrian peninsula, islands of Kvarner archipelago, mountains of Gorski Kotar, Venice, Italian Alps… and if we have luck, maybe griffin vulture fly through, that glorious but very rare bird that habits here. After we get acquainted with all beauty and diversity of this mountain which proudly rises above the sea, we'll go back to our hotel.

Day 15: After breakfast and salute cocktail we’ll go to Rijeka airport.
