Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive from Nairobi on Kenya Airways, meet and greet, safari briefing by our representative. City tour of Kigali, visiting a Genocide memorial site. Lunch in Kigali, thereafter drive to Ruhengeri town, main base for Gorilla trekking (about 2 hours drive on a good paved road).
Day 2: After breakfast, report to the Gorillas office for trekking formalities and briefing. Then enter the forest for Gorilla tracking which will take you to midday depending on the apes’ location. Lunch will be served at the lodge. Afterwards visit the nearby beautiful twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo before proceeding back to Kigali for overnight Novotel Umubano Hotel.
Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel, morning transfer to the Airport and fly to Nairobi.
