Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Settling in. After arrival at Belgrade airport we transfer to our accommodation for the week, 1 1/2 hours depending on which accommodation is chosen. Arrival is usually late afternoon if flying with B.A or late evening by Jat airlines.
Day 2: Rest day Our first day will be a day of rest just unwinding at the accommodation or perhaps taking a leisurely stroll in the surrounding countryside.
Day 3: Trip to Potpecka cave. We start after breakfast at 8.30am with a trip to Zlakusa village where we take a gentle nature walk of 3-4 km to Roska Spa where we have lunch at the fish farm restaurant. After lunch we will visit Potpecka cave system with its amazing stalag tights and which was inhabited since Neolithic times. We then return to Zlakusa village where we then visit the pottery school, where there will be a chance to make your own pot. After the pottery we go to the nearby Ethno park (Traditional Serbian house and yard) where we have dinner and enjoy a traditional Serbian folk evening.
Day 4: Rest day.
Day 5: Rest day.
Day 6: Sightseeing of Topola. We start after breakfast at 9am with a trip to Topola where we visit where we will visit the magnificent church of St George built by King Peter 1 and dedicated to his people, he and other Kings and Royal family members are buried in the church. We will also visit the smaller church and museum of Karadjordjevic, leader of Serbian uprising against the ruling Turks. Then we carry on to have lunch at "Lunjevica" a traditional Serbian restaurant.
Day 7: Sightseeing of Cacak. We start after breakfast at 9am with a trip to Cacak where we have a guided tour of the city. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. The afternoon will be free for shopping. Return home in time for evening meal.
Day 8: Departure.
