Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: At 7:00pm: Depart Georgetown by bus for a spirit lifting drive to Iwokrama Forest Conservation Centre. 23:00pm: A brief stop at the Bauxite Town of Linden & 58 Miles Mabura Road side Restaurant for a hot cup of tea or snack.
Day 2: 6:00am: Arrive at Kurupukari Village for the Essequibo River crossing into the Iwokrama Forest Conservation Reserve Centre where you will digest a splendid Tour of our pristine Rainforest. Your tour will take you to Turtle Mountain for a spiriting view of our virgin Rainforest to have a close interaction with our flora and fauna eg: Spider monkeys, land turtles and our black Caymans. After lunch you have a Bedford truck drive to the Canopy Walk way for the ideal bird watching opportunity. In the afternoon you have a sunset drive to Surama Amerindian village in the North Rupununi which happens to be the only Amerindian village with Zoo in it.
Day 3: Digest the Surama village culture from your tour and hike to Iwokrama Mountains to view the spider Monkeys.
Day 4: At 8:00am: Arrive at the Rock View Resort at the foot hills of the Pakaraima Mountains in the North Rupununi Savannahs for breakfast and a tour. 10:00am: Depart the Rock View Resort for Karanambu Nature Resort on the Rupununi River the home of the Giant Otters “Water dogs”. Your drive to Karanambu resort will afford you to digest some spirit lifting, nature depicting Savannah and Mountains views that will last you a life time.
Day 5: Depart Karanambu Resort for a Rupununi River boat trip up to Mapari Wilderness Camp for the night, in the heart of the Kanuku Mountain Rainforest to view our 14 feet long Black Caimans and anacondas snakes on the River banks.
Day 6: After breakfast do some fishing for our Himara and Packoo Bass and digest some fried fish before you returned to Karanambu Resort.
Day 7: Safari along western foot hills of the Kanuku Mountains to Yurpukari, Nappi unto to Lethem.
Day 8: Visit the Moco Moco waterfalls at the Kanuku Mountain foot hills.
Day 9: Have a day tour to Shea Rock “One of South America Largest single rock” in South Savannas and a tour of the Amerindian village.
Day 10: Returned Safari trip to Lethem.
Day 11: Experience our Pink Dolphins Tour on the Ireng River.
Day 12: Boa Vista City Tour in Brazil.
Day 13: Drive to Manaus Brazilian city which is located in the middle of the Amazon jungle.
Day 14: Rio Negro River boat tour. In the evening digest Manaus splendid night life.
Day 15: Amazon River boat trip. In the evening digest another exciting night life in Manaus.
