Experience an Alaska spring that most visitors never see and even only a few Alaska residents ever witness. As the multitude of thousands upon thousands of tons of Pacific herring move into the shallow ocean waters along the shoreline to spawn, a myriad of hungry predators including seals, bald eagles, sea lions, humpback whales, orca and a host of sea birds create a wondrous spectacle as the prey upon the vulnerable herring.
