Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
On arrival to Delhi airport you would be met by the Gets Holidays representative and transfer to the hotel. A brief of this contrast city which had an uprising and falling of many empires. The city represents rich colonial charm, culture, cuisine, old monuments and modern marvels. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Delhi
Day 2: Delhi
- 09.00hr: Morning proceed for City sightseeing of Old Delhi and New Delhi includes Red Fort a symbol of power stands high. The market of Chandni Chowk from the entry point to the silver bazaar brings you to the Jama Masjid the largest mosque in India. Exploring the monument from inside is quiet interesting.
As you drive further the memorial Raj Ghat of Mahatma Gandhi is to be seen definitely that portrays tolerance before the world. After lunch visit Humayun's tomb, one of the city's finest historical sites, the Qutub Minar, a soaring tower of victory dating back to 1199 AD and drive past Rasthrapati Bhawan, the residence of the President of India, Rajpath and India Gate.
- 19.30hr: proceed for Light and Sound show.
- 21.00hr: proceed for Dinner. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi/Mandawa (242km 6hr approx.)
- 8.00hr: Morning After breakfast drive to Mandawa, heart of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan known for its frescoed havelis. Driving in a south-westerly direction form Delhi one immediately leaves behind the urban environs of the capital of India and gets the glimpses of the country side. Stopping midway at Peer Mal Ki Haveli. On arrival in Mandawa check into your hotel.
- 15.30hr: In the afternoon visit the Havelis notable among them beingthChokani, Ladia and the Saraf Havelis. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Mandawa/Jaipur (168km 3 hr. drive)
- 9.00hr: Morning depart by surface to Jaipur. Later have a look of the colorful bazaar which are crowded as it used to be 500 years back and Johri Bazaar. If you are fascinated with Indian Jewelery than Jaipur is the place for you to explore the miniature works on jewellery. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipuir
- 8.00hr: The morning of your day in Jaipur will start with an excursion to Amber Fort, the former capital of the state. Enjoy an ascent on the hill on which the fort is situated, on elephant back and Afternoon at 14.30hr city sightseeing of Jaipur includes City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall Museum etc. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Jaipuir/Ranthombore (180km 3hr Drive)
- 8.00hr: Morning depart by surface to Ranthombore. On arrival in Ranthombore check into the hotel.
- 14.30hr: Afternoon you’ll be taken by safari by Jeep into the National park – Hope to spot a Tiger. Overnight stay at Wildlife Resort at Ranthombore.
Day 7: Ranthambore/Agra (350km 6hr drive)
- 8.00hr: Morning you’ll be taken by safari into the national park (Optional). Further Drive to Agra - on arrival check into the hotel. After fresh up proceed to Agra Fort that represents the mighty Mughals and their luxury. Viewing Taj Mahal from there would definitely attract you more to explore it from close quarters.
Later proceed to the Taj Mahal during sunset that would add romance to your visit as the gentle breeze touches you. Explore the local markets and drive back to the hotel for the overnight stay. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 8: Agra - Delhi
- 8.00hr: Morning at leisure. Afternoon depart by surface to Delhi 205km 4hr drive approx. On arrival at Delhi departure transfer to the International Airport to connect flight for your onward destination.
