You will bike through rolling terrain and visiting small villages and towns, unspoiled by time. This trip offers a unique opportunity to explore a very special local culture and geographical terrain.

- Bike on empty country roads surrounded by wildflowers of all colors, natural oaks and pecan trees, mesas and rugged rock formations, mesquite and cacti of all shapes and sizes and huge ranches with long horn cattle and other range animals.
- Explore a rich indigenous American culture with a distinct history unique to Texas, small towns with old buildings unchanged by time, country and western music, barbecue and ribs hot off the fire and the friendly people of the Texas Hill Country.

*Tour Level: While this trip is hilly and reasonably challenging, there are few very long or steep hills. The trip has been designed to allow for different options to accommodate bikers with different abilities and interests. It is suitable for intermediate-level bikers and above.
*Weather: The average high temperature is 77 and the average low is 53 degrees F.
*Logistics: Trip will originate in Austin, Texas with van service to Fredericksburg, Texas, where trip will begin and terminate. Escapades will assist with hotel accommodation in Austin and provide van service to and from Fredericksburg.
