These short stay semi-participation safaris to those travelers looking for that little bit extra, be they experienced African hands or first timers. These safaris have been prepared specifically to combine the adventure of a true African bush safari, access to big game, camping amongst the game without the boundary of artificial fences, together with a degree of comfort not normally found under these circumstances.
In addition, all of our safaris are conducted in air-conditioned off-road vehicles, led by experienced guides and accompanied by full crew. Please note that this is a semi-luxury safari where a crew will accompany you to make and break camp, cook all meals and do all camp chores.
Tour Itinerary:
Days 1-2: Maun. Be met by Tour Operator. Enter and camp in Moremi for two nights, the most game rich of all Botswana's National Parks.
Days 3-4: Drive along the picturesque Kwai River, proceed to Savuti camp within the Chobe National Park, explore Savuti area. Camp for two nights to look for and track resident lion pride.
Day 5: Drive north to camp for two days on banks of the Chobe River home of some of the biggest herds of elephant in southern Africa.
Day 6: Early morning game drive along Chobe River. Leave the National Park and drive to Kasane where the safari ends.
