This mobile semi-luxury safari is for those travellers looking for that little bit extra, be they experienced african hands or first timers.
The safari will last 10 days, commencing in Maun, Botswana and ending in Kasane, overlooking the Chobe River and includes
-Okavango Swamps and Delta

(optionally Victoria Falls or Makgadikdagi/Nxai Pans National Parks)

This is a semi-luxury safari where a crew will accompany you to make and break camp, cook and serve meals, and do all camp chores. Note also that all sleeping equipment is provided including duvets, fitted sheets and towels. Evening and morning game drives can be expected on all non-traveling days. Traveling to new locations is usually considered as a game drive due to the locations traveled through.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Maun. Met by tour operator. Transfer to a lodge outside of town, in its own game grounds. Overnight in large comfortable safari tents with en-suite facilities.
Day 2: Take a day trip into the Okavango starting with a flight over the Delta to Chiefs Island where trips by makoro will be arranged, together with bush walks in this unique ecosystem of land and water. Return to overnight at a village community campsite in a private concession area.
Days 3-4: Enter Moremi Game Reserve. Camp for two nights in this most game rich of Botswana reserves.
Day 5: Bush camp adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve on the picturesque Kwai River with its stunning variety of bird life and other game. All driving in this area can be considered game drives.
Days 6-7: Driving further north, proceed to Savute camp within the Chobe National Park. This is one of the few areas where lion have learned to hunt elephant. Explore Savute area, look for and track resident lion pride.
Days 8-9: Driving further north to camp for two nights on the banks of the Chobe River, home of some of the biggest herds of elephant in southern Africa. Game drive to explore river area and other parts of Chobe National Park.
Day 10: Head for Kasane, the safari town on the Chobe River, in time for an evening sunset river cruise. Overnight at a lodge in town on the banks of the river.
Day 11: Safari ends after breakfast. Dept Kasane airport.
