Ray has built a strong reputation on and off the field as a leader who cares enough to get things done. Since Ray first arrived in the Baltimore area, he has been a community staple when it pertains to helping the youth of our city. Most of the charities Ray chooses to partake in, he does without any fanfare. His enormous amounts of charitable donations have gone unpublicized. However, Ray now wants to get the public involved in his very righteous and charitable causes and that's why The Ray Lewis Foundation has been established. The Ray Lewis Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives of todays at risk youth.

Objective: Cabo San Lucas provides some of the best big fish fishing in the World. It is our objective to bring a group of professional athletes down to Cabo San Lucas, pair them up with professional fishermen and host a 2 day tournament. Prizes: Proceeds will go to charity.

Tournament Overview: Known as the marlin capital of the World, Cabo San Lucas provides us with the perfect spot to host a deep sea fishing tournament. With the help of the local charter fishing companies we will use approximately 10-12 boats consisting of athletes, sponsor participants, camera crew, and 2 professional fisherman. Each boat will go out for 3 days and the scoring will be done 1 of the following 3 ways:

- Largest fish each day

Each team will decide to either keep or throw away fish they catch based on their size. At the end of the day the team with the largest fish will get the most points for the day. The total points will be added up and determine the champion after 3 days of fishing.

- Total aggregate weight of all fish caught

Each team will weigh all of the fish caught and a point system will determine which fish are worth more based on size and weight and ease of catch. The team with the most points after 3 days will be the champion.

- Single largest fish

After 3 days of fishing the team who catches the largest fish overall will be the champion.

The tournament can be run as either a catch-and-kill or a catch-and-release. Ideally the boats would leave at 7am and get to the fishing waters in approximately 1-1.5 hours. 1 pm will mark the "line’s-in" time and boats would be back to the docks around 2 pm. Once fishing is done on the second day there will be a trophy ceremony and dinner for all involved and a champion will be crowned.
