Your Itinerary

Day 1: Banff

Arrive in Calgary, Alberta. Follow the directions in your personalized travel journal and experience the remarkable transition from city to Rocky Mountains. Arrive in the alpine town of Banff and explore all that this historic town has to offer including, shops, art galleries and local pubs. Better yet…go for a walk along the beautiful Bow River! Day 2: Banff

Explore at leisure today with helpful tips from the travel journal. You'll have time to immerse yourself in the local culture and surroundings before the first river experience. Early this evening join a professional guide for an interpretive float down a gentle mountain river as you learn about the wildlife and history of the Bow Valley. Later, savor a delicious Canadian Rockies dinner that will satisfy any hunger brought on from a day of exploring. Day 3: Jasper

Drive one of North America’s most spectacular highways on the road to Jasper - the Icefields Parkway. Get your camera ready for the 100 glaciers and waterfalls viewable from the highway. Arrive in Jasper and take in a relaxing shoreline walk or canoe ride on the lake in front of your lodge. Unwind in your comfy surroundings. Day 4: Jasper

Spirit Island has been capturing the imagination and hearts of visitors for decades. Today's relaxing lake cruise gives you firsthand experience while discovering Jasper's beautiful surroundings. Relish an exquisite dinner tonight and perhaps the greenish white beams of the Northern Lights will be out to illuminate the sky for a late evening stroll. Day 5: Lake Louise

Depart Jasper for Lake Louise, this time stopping at the Columbia Icefields. As the largest mass of ice in the Rocky Mountains, its waters feed the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic Oceans. You'll go for a walk or tour on the most accessible portion, the Athabasca Glacier, and discover a whole new world surrounding this river of ice. Later, continue to Lake Louise and discover her spectacular charms. Notice the difference in pace of this tiny mountain hamlet as you enjoy this final leg of your trip. Day 6: Lake Louise

Later, visit Lake Louise's quaint shops or explore with our handy tips. Indulge your taste buds in a final dinner featuring Rocky Mountain inspired cuisine. Day 7: Return to Calgary, then home

Pull yourself away from the natural surroundings of Lake Louise as you complete the final leg of your Canadian Rockies journey. Make your way back to the Calgary International Airport and return home with a lifetime of remarkable memories from your lake and river adventure!
