Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver - Upon arrival, either pick up your rental car at the airport or transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Your Exclusive Documentation Package will be waiting for you at the front desk when you check in.

Day 2: Vancouver Exploring
Vancouver Exploring – Beaches, Stanley Park, a vibrant downtown and dozens of attractions to choose from. Spend the day exploring Canada’s West Coast Gem. Admission to Lookout Tower is provided.

Day 3: Vancouver to Sun Peaks
Vancouver to Sun Peaks – Travel east through the scenic Fraser Valley. Passing through Hope, you can choose to drive either the Trans-Canada Highway through the arid Fraser Canyon or the Coquihalla Highway through the mountains. As you travel, the scenery changes from lush coastal rainforest to farmland, to arid valleys and rugged mountains. In the afternoon, pass through Kamloops to the mountain resort village of Sun Peaks.

Day 4: Sun Peaks to Jasper
Sun Peaks to Jasper – Driving north and east, you may wish to make a side trip to Wells Gray Park and marvel at Helmcken or Spahat Falls (just outside the park). Continue your journey along the Yellowhead Highway, following the same route as early fur traders. Traveling through Mount Robson Park, you’ll see Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains (3,954m). Along the way, keep watch for wildlife: Mountain Sheep, Elk, Mountain Goats, and Black Bears. Shortly after entering the province of Alberta, you’ll arrive in the quaint town of Jasper, in Jasper National Park.

Day 5: Jasper Exploring
Jasper Exploring – Explore Jasper National Park. Visit Maligne Canyon, Medicine Lake and take a 90-minute scenic cruise on Maligne Lake. Optional activities include river rafting, trail riding, golf, and canoeing.

Day 6: Jasper to Banff
Jasper to Banff – This is one of the most scenic drives in the world, along the Icefields Parkway through the heart of the Canadian Rockies. You’ll see the Athabasca and Sunwapta Falls, Athabasca Glacier (a snowcoach excursion on the Columbia Icefields is optional), Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, and the Crowfoot Glacier. Again, keep watch for wildlife! Visit the renowned Chateau Lake Louise on your way to Banff.

Day 7: Banff Exploring
Banff Exploring – A ride up Sulphur Mountain Gondola is included, offering stunning views of the Canadian Rockies. The rest of your options for the day are many: hiking, trailriding, golfing, and shopping. Free Evening.

Day 8: Tour ends in Calgary
Banff to Calgary – The two-hour drive to Calgary takes you from towering mountains to rolling foothills to flat prairie. In Calgary, you may return your rental car either at the Calgary International Airport or downtown. See Alberta section for additional nights accommodations while in Calgary.
