As a fly-drive or a coach tour, this tour takes you into the coastal mountains where you will travel through a myriad of regions.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Optional 1st nt. Arrive in Vancouver
Day 2: Vancouver to Tofino
Vancouver to Tofino – Today, after a Ferry ride, you will drive west from Nanaimo to the small village of Tofino. Enroute, we recommend stops at Cathedral Grove, Long Beach, and Pacific Rim National Park.
Day 3: Tofino Exploring
Tofino exploring – Today you will go on either a Black-Bear or Whale-Watching tour by boat for 2 to 2.5 hours. Upon returning, spend the rest of the day exploring the village, white sandy beaches, or even take a short drive to the fishing village of Ucluelet and take a walk on the spectacular Wild Pacific Trail.
Day 4: Tofino to Victoria
Tofino to Victoria – After a last walk on the beach, you will drive east through the town of Port Alberni, by Cathedral Grove to Coombs. A stop may be warranted for shopping. Then south through Nanaimo to Cowichan (to see the Cowichan Native Village) and Chemainus to view the city of Murals. Then onto the Garden City of Victoria.
Day 5: Victoria to Vancouver
Victoria to Vancouver – This morning after checkout, you will drive or transfer to the world-famous Butchart Gardens. Spend time exploring 55 acres of spectacular floral displays from the Sunken Gardens to the charming Rose Garden. Travel to Vancouver aboard a BC Ferry.
