After living in Ghana and realizing that the best way of experiencing Ghana was to be in the company of Ghanaians, he set up Insight Travel in Preston. UK. Insight Travel after 13 years of doing business from the UK has expanded it's activities especially the in country activities in Ghana.

Since 1989 Insight Travel has offered a lot of people of different nationalities the opportunity of staying and enjoying the company of the friendliest people in West Africa. Insight travel organizes tailor made individual holidays and small group tours to basically Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region as well as other parts of Ghana upon request.
Our specialty the home stay package offers you the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of a Ghanaian home on the edge of Kumasi, capital of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Kumasi is a unique and exciting city, formally the capital of the ancient Ashanti Kingdom. Once described as the "biggest village in Africa", it bustles with cultural activity and is still the seat of the most powerful Ashanti King, the Asantehene. It is also the home of the National Cultural Center; one of the biggest markets in Africa; and a host of skilled craft workers from textiles to goldsmith. The emphasis of the holiday is on meeting people, experiencing the culture and family life and pursuing your personal interests as well.
You are provided with a well-ventilated mosquito-proof room with shared or exclusive sanitary facilities and two mostly Ghanaian meals a day. Your host family helps you see and enjoy all the activities as they happen. Your questions get answered and Ghanaian life begins to make sense to you.
