Your Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Calgary International Airport; welcome assistance by a Good Earth Travel Adventures representative; depart from the airport and drive into the Rockies and into Banff National Park; check into the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Includes: (D);
Day 2: Wake to a glorious day in the mountains; breakfast at Chateau; then experience a trip highlight with a ski plane tour; afternoon to explore at leisure with suggestions from Good Earth Travel Adventures; dinner and overnight at Chateau Lake Louise. Includes: (B);
Day 3: Breakfast at Chateau; enjoy an exciting day on a pre-selected activity of your choice that can include hiking, walking, rafting, horseback riding, birdwatching, canoeing or fishing; overnight at Chateau Lake Louise. Includes: (B);
Day 4: Breakfast and then depart Lake Louise in the morning and drive towards Jasper on one of North America’s most spectacular highways - the Icefields Parkway; stop along the way for a memorable glacier Icewalk on the Athabasca Glacier; continue towards Jasper and check into the Fairmont Japer Park Lodge; overnight at the Lodge. Includes: (B);
Day 5: Breakfast at the Lodge; today you will have option– either a half day private hike or an historic voyageur canoe tour; afterwards experience a Tramride and sunset dinner atop the magnificent Whistler Mountain or a relaxing dinner at the Lodge; overnight at the Jasper Park Lodge. Includes: (B), (D);
Day 6: Breakfast at Lodge; depart Jasper in the morning and drive towards Banff on the Icefields Parkway; travel through to Banff - suggestions for points of interest and stops enroute provided by us; arrive Banff and check into the famous Castle in the Wilderness - the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Includes: (B);
Day 7: Breakfast at the Springs and then enjoy the rest of the day to explore at leisure with tips from Good Earth Travel Adventures; overnight at the Banff Springs Hotel. Includes: (B);
Day 8: Breakfast at Lodge; take in another wonderful mountain day of pre-selected adventures that can include hiking, caving, horseback riding, wildlife discovery, float tours, spa and golf; enjoy your last evening in the Rockies while reminiscing over dinner at one of Banff’s fine restaurants; overnight at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. Day 9: One last breakfast in the mountains; depart for the airport and reflect on your Good Earth Travel Adventures independent, active vacation.
