Bayanzag is internationally famous for dinosaur remains. Dinosaur eggs with a diameter of 10 to 15 centimeters were found here in Mongolia for the first time in the World. In the Gobi desert there are many places such as Hermen Tsav, Zulganai, Tugrugiin Shiree and Naran Daats, which are famous for the findings of dinosaur remains and their unusual formations. On this trip we have an opportunity to visit and explore these places.

The Khongor sand dunes extend in the northern side of Sevrei and Zuulun mountains and are a part of the desert zone, which takes up 2.7% of Mongolian territory. These sand dunes are 180 km long, 15-20 m wide and up to 300 m high. There is an oasis near Khongor gol, which flows from south to north at the northern edge of the sand dune. The scenery is simply spectacular.

The camel is called the "Ship of Sand Sea" by Gobi people. People can reach anywhere with camel. In early time the camel was the biggest and strongest transport. When we see the camel it is big and imposing but actually it is very quiet and everyone can ride it. The most interesting part of our journey is to ride a camel over the Sand dunes and view the natural beauty and animals of the Gobi desert.

Yol Am (Vulture's Gorge) is a narrow valley that locates in Zuun Saikhan Mountain range, with meters thick pieces of ice almost all year around hidden in its depths. It is impressive to see the herds of wild ass and gazelle wander and race through the endless steppe and in front of our vehicle. We will see local herders and visit the Gobi family, which is famous for its hospitality.
