The trip takes us to the Great Gobi Desert. Once it was the bottom of inland sea and after drying up, it became a home to unique natural formations, flora and fauna that could not found anywhere else in the world. In the Gobi desert there are many places such as Hermen Tsav, Zulganai, Tugrugiin Shiree and Naran Daats, which are famous for the findings of dinosaur remains and their unusual formations. On this trip we have an opportunity to visit and explore these places. Bayanzag is internationally famous for dinosaur remains. Dinosaur eggs with a diameter of 10 to 15 centimeters were found here in Mongolia for the first time in the world.

The Khongor sand dune extends in the northern side of Sevrei and Zuulun mountains and is a part of the desert zone, which takes up 2.7 % of Mongolian territory. It lies 180 km long, 15-20 m wide and up to 300 m high. There is an oasis near Khongor gol, which flows from south to north at the northern edge of the sand dune. The scenery is perfect from this side.

Yol Am (Vulture's Mouth) is the narrow valley that locates in Zuun Saikhan Mountain, with meters thick ice almost all year around. The small stream remains frozen for most of the year and the area is home to rare animals such as Wild sheep and goat, wild ass, Gobi bear and also vulture and other big birds.

It is impressive to see the herds of wild ass and gazelle wander and race through the endless steppe and in front of our vehicle. We see local herders and visit to the Gobi family, which is famous for their hospitality and we have some time to ride a two-humped camel and take a photos along the way.
