Let's get back to nature on the inland "beaches" of Lake Victoria. Back to nature safari is a combination of serene waters, bird songs and stunning sunrises and sunsets which all give this Island an unforgettable and therapeutic effect on the tourist soul.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart Kampala for Ssese islands through Entebbe and Nakiwongo for a three hours ship cruise on Lake Victoria to the Islands. Expect a wide view of the luxuriant and beautiful forests in tropical Africa. All these coupled with the beautiful beaches and snow-white sand which host a lot of aquatic life, birds, reptiles etc. Dinner and overnight at Ssese Islands beach hotel.
Day 2: After breakfast, make a number of discoveries by engaging in various activities like short boat rides, day and night sport fishing trips for the Nile perch-the largest fresh water game in the world, sunset and birding cruises etc. These activities can be done at any time of the day. Overnight at Sese Islands beach hotel.
Day 3: This morning after breakfast we shall have an informative nature walk where we expect to spot birds, butterflies and monkeys. Later on we will embark on the ferry cruise across the lake before proceeding to Entebbe and then Kampala. Our arrival in Kampala is late in the afternoon where this tour ends.
