Tour Itinerary:
Day 1, Monday: USA - Berlin.
Depart from the United States on a regular scheduled overnight flight to Germany.
Day 2, Tuesday: Berlin.
Arrive in Berlin and transfer on own* to your Berlin hotel. The remainder of the day will be at your leisure to explore the highlights of this exciting city, such as Brandenburg Gate, Check Point Charlie, the Reichstag, and Berlin Cathedral. If you prefer, you may choose to take an optional boat trip, providing you with views of some of Berlin’s important sights from the River Spree. You can continue to explore the Berlin‘s wonderful museums or roam around the many boutiques and department stores. This evening, your guide will contact you. Overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express Berlin City Centre or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 3, Wednesday: Berlin - Dresden - Berlin.
Following breakfast, the tour proceeds to Dresden for a day trip. Upon your arrival, there will be a city tour which will familiarize you with one of the loveliest cities of Central Europe – known as the “Florence on the Elbe“. Locations included in the tour will be the restored Frauenkirche, the Semper Opera, the Baroque Zwinger Palace, and the Green Vault to mention a few. Later this afternoon you will return to Berlin. (If time allows, a brief city tour will be provided – or it will be given prior to your departure to Hamburg the following morning). This evening is at your leisure. Includes: (B).
Day 4, Thursday: Berlin - Hamburg.
In the morning you head north to Hamburg where you will begin a tour of this impressive city including the main sights, such as Michel, Reeperbahn, Alster and more. Your city tour will be followed by relaxing Harbor Cruise around Germany´s largest seaport. In the evening, you may contemplate a visit to Hamburg´s Reeperbahn, the amusement quarter. Overnight stay at Hotel Panorama Hamburg-Billstedt or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 5, Friday: Hamburg - Bremen - Hamelin.
After breakfast, you depart for Bremen, the Free Hanseatic City known for its old tradition of trade and seafaring. Visit the picturesque market place with the statue of “Roland”, the Old Town, the City Hall and the Cathedral. Driving along the Fairy-Tale Road, the tour will reach Hamelin, city of the Pied Piper. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner. Overnight stay at Hotel Mercure or similar. Includes: (B), (D).
Day 6, Saturday: Hamelin - Frankfurt.
This morning, enjoy the delightful old quarter of the historical town of Hamelin on the River Weser. Afterward, the tour continues south along the Fairy-Tale Road, with stops depending on the weather and local traffic. Your afternoon arrival in Frankfurt will be followed by a panoramic tour showcasing this traditional, yet modern city. Tonight, dinner will be on your own. Overnight stay at Express by Holiday Inn or similar. Includes: (B).
Day 7, Sunday: Frankfurt.
Following breakfast and hotel check-out, transfer on your own* to the airport for your scheduled flight back to the United States. Includes: (B).
